St. Mary’s Catholic School Tuition & Fees for 2026-2027

We want you to be part of the St. Mary’s Catholic School community!

Our mission is to provide quality, faith-based education to as many children as possible.  Paying tuition is a sacrifice, especially among rising costs everywhere else!  We work hard to assist families through scholarships and financial aid to make St. Mary’s Catholic School as affordable as possible.

Tuition Obligation

Upon acceptance of a student and execution of a tuition contract, the full year’s tuition shall be considered payable.

Schedule of Tuition Obligation in case of early withdrawal:

Withdrawal after June 1st: 25% of annual tuition and fees

Withdrawal after the first day of school: 50% of annual tuition and fees

Withdrawal after the first trimester: 100% of annual tuition and fees

All tuition refunds are contingent upon the school receiving written notice prior to the student’s actual departure date and the refund amount will be determined based on the actual departure date.

The school reserves the right to withhold all student records (with the exception of Health Records) until accounts have been paid in full. Additionally, the school reserves the right to expel any student whose tuition is unpaid for more than one month.

Since individual student accounts are invoiced on a family basis, these policies will affect each child in the family (if an out-going student leaves a balance due, the younger siblings will not be admitted to school until the outgoing student’s balance is paid in full.)

No enrollment will be permitted in any other Archdiocesan school while there are tuition and/or fees outstanding.

Welcome Discount

We love to see new faces at our school!  As a way of welcoming you to our community, a discount for a new student’s first school year is available upon request.  Limited number available, so apply today!

New Student Referral Discount

The best way for new families to learn about SMCS is through word of mouth!  We offer a $1,000 discount to any returning family who successfully refers another family to join SMCS.

West Virginia’s Hope Scholarship

The WV Hope Scholarship empowers families to make school choices that are right for their educational needs. The Hope Scholarship program offers qualifying West Virginia K-12 students an opportunity to build an individual learning experience that works best for their child. The scholarship allows K-12 students to receive financial assistance that can be used for tuition, homeschool curriculum, and other qualifying expenses.

Fees

New Student Application Fee

$100 per student.  Due upon submission of application to SMCS.

New Student Registration Fee

$250 per student.  Due upon enrollment acceptance by SMCS.
