Letter from the Pastor

Pastor’s Welcome Letter

Thank you for your interest in Saint Mary Catholic School.

We know there are so many schools you could send your children to. There are
many thoughts about how to educate children in the 21 st Century. But when it
comes to the education of our children, we really want what is tried and true. As
God spoke to the prophet Jeremiah:

“Stand by the roads, and look,
And ask for the ancient paths,
Where the good way is; and walk in it,
And find rest for your souls.”

At Saint Mary’s, we walk with our students down the path of all that is True, Good
and Beautiful. We love science and technology. We love mathematics and
English. We love social studies and literature. We love art, music and gym. And
most of all, we love Jesus Christ and His Catholic Church.

Our mission is to help every child flourish—in body, mind and soul. St. Mary’s is
an oasis of traditional virtue and value.

Ultimately, we seek not only to equip our students with knowledge, but with
wisdom; to graduate students who are not only well-educated, but who are also
good. “If you ask what is the good of education in general,” said Plato, “the
answer is easy; that education makes good men, and that good men act nobly.”

Our world could use more noble people in it, don’t you think?

St. Mary Catholic School loves God, children and tried-and-true education. We
form virtuous citizens of heaven and earth. All are welcome in this oasis of virtue.

God bless you!
